Don McIntosh shared that his daughter, Ashley, is getting married this weekend. This is such a special day as they will now be living in the eyes of our Lord.
Don also spoke about time spent in his yard this week reflecting with God. He stated that God took his thoughts back over the last 5 or 6 years and showed Don where he was now as compared with then. It was a very pleasant time for him.
Robert Thompson wants to thank everybody for their prayers as he and Kathy were traveling on their recent trip. They had good weather and safe travels, and they attribute these factors to our prayers.
Howard Ferguson stated that his uncle, Lawrence Ferguson, passed away Tuesday morning. Please be in prayer for his uncle's family as well as Howard and Jean Ann as they adjust to this loss.
Howard also shared that he is pleased with his sons-in-law. One of them is going to church and doing things he is supposed to be doing.
Sharon Thomas shared that Doc Thomas is doing better. He was able to move to a different room (309) and has a view of the lawn, sky, trees, birds, squirrels and people. In addition, this room is warmer than his old room. His wounds are progressing, and his spirits are much better. Please continue to pray for healing and ability to participate in everyday life more easily.
Please remember to pray for those affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. People in the mountains are living in cold weather now and don't have access to food, heat, etc. The same is true for those on flat land; hopefully they have access to supplies more easily.
Continue to pray for Pastor Sean and his wife Rachel as they assume leadership of our church. We should especially pray for Rachel's health. At some time, Sean will be assuming leadership of the Wednesday night service.
